Easy Muffin Recipe

    Home made baked muffin cup cake recipe
    Chocolate Muffins

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil

For frosting

1/3 cup butter softened
3 cups powdered sugar( icing sugar)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 or 2 tablespoon milk


Preheat the oven to 180 deg C . 
Grease 12 muffin cups with butter or line with paper muffin liners. 
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder and baking soda in a large bowl. 
Whisk egg, milk and vegetable oil in another bowl until smooth.
Pour this into the mixture of the large bowl and stir until the batter is smooth. 
Fill prepared muffin cups upto 3/4 full. 
Bake in preheated oven at 180C for about 25 minutes. 
Cool muffins for about 10 minutes and  then remove on a wire rack to cool completely.

For frosting:- 

In a medium bowl, mix powdered sugar and butter with spoon or electric mixer on low speed. 
Stir the vanilla and 1 tablespoon of milk. Beat gradually to make frosting smooth while adding the remaining milk. 
Pour the frosting in a piping bag and spread it on the muffins.
Decorate with rainbow sugar balls.
